This is a big project. You can tell by the way I'm slowly trying to do cross by cross this big dress.Ok, I had to spend a lot of time on the sparkly purple "Trick or treat". Originally I wanted to do the letters in the dress area, so that I wouldn' have to count space for them again and again.
Then it made sense to just finish the lettering.
On top of it, yesterday morning I started the last part of the dress int he wrong colour, so there was a bit of frogging involved (lost one hour stitching wrong and picking it).
Autumn holidays start today, DBF came to my place for the first time yesterday, and we already had fun eating at the local Teppan Yakki (japanese) restaurant !
Today seems to be a covered but mild Autumn day, I'm quite excited to go and check out the local hobby shop that has an "open doors" day today. I only know about this thanks to my grandma who sent me the leaflet, I never set foot at the shop yet !
That's the inconvienent of spending the week ends at DBF's: less local exploration at the week ends... ;)

Ceci est un gros projet. cela se voit au temps passé pour faire cette fichue robe. Ok, j'ai passé du temps à faire les lettres "Trick or Treat" en métallique mauve, pour n'avoir plus à compter leur espace dans la robe, et après j'ai décidé de finir tout.
Puis hier je me suis trompée de couleur pour le bas de la robe, du coup j'ai perdu une heure, de broderie inutile et de défaire tout....
Aujourd'hui est le premier jour des vacances de Toussaint, avec la première visite de DBF dans le beau pays de Charleroi. On a déjà bien rigolé hier au restau japonais du coin, où yavait que des jeunes.
Et le temps est pas mal aujourd'hui pour aller se promener, automne typique. J'espère aller à la boutique Hobby du coin, qui a ses portes ouvertes aujourd'hui. Je ne le sait que grâce à ma grand mère qui m'a mis le papier dans la boite aux lettres !
C'est bien l'inconvénient de passer ses week ends en France: je ne connais pas bien le coin !

Frogging is just the worst, isn't it. But she's coming along nicely now. And DBF is way more important anyway.
TU as quoi comme magasin de loisirs créatifs dans ton coin? Ici à part savoir et créer, c'est mort !!! lol
