Let the bunny hop !

Have you ever woken up in the morning, realising you had 2 weeks until Easter, but your projects ideas and plans need 2 months? That was the panicky moment for me this morning... Especially since DBF decided to decorate his Ficus tree with Easter decorations.

On the picture, you can see the state of "Every Bunny does the hop". Zweigart linen is great when the project is finished, as the fabric threads are thicker than DMCs, and so you don't have that annoying transparent effect. Problem is, the holes are smaller, and on dark fabric, very difficult to see.

So this will probably be my only "Easter stitching".

I also wanted to make more egg shaped cross stitch designs, but it would take time and creativity (energy!) to do. So I will have to resort to easier and quickest ways to make ornaments, like felt eggs.

And I have a suprise stitching to do as well... hum...

------------------------------------------

Enfin, on verra bien !!!

The fabric you chose looks very pretty up close, but I can see that it's hard to work on :-/ The felt ornaments are an excellent plan b!

Your earlier finish of Curly Q looks wonderful, and your new one is looking great too. The colors stand out so beautifully on that color fabric. However, with it being dark I can see how it would be difficult to work on at night. Good luck with getting your various Easter projects done, it does seem to be coming early this year.
