For some time I've seen those strange crocheted dishcloths made out of acrylic to clean dishes. I have to admit I was a big sceptic as to the efficiency.
But I had to try. And the moment that little yarn thing managed to scrub the external bottom of a very dirty pan, I was hooked !!!
They are easy to make, durable and machine washable, what do you want more? Ah yes, links to patterns.
So go to here for the round one, and here for the doll-looking one.

Kawai bunny pocket
Each project I knit I learn something new. I had fell in love with this bunny pattern in the Stitch and Bitch book. So I had to try and make it, however complicated it was. And DBF can testify I was a grumpy puss with so many bits of yarn in my 2.5mm needles !!! But I managed in the end.I also made my first holes in the knit in the form of an eyelet row.
And of course, the i-cord. Nath, an i-cord looks like a cord coming from a tricotin, but it's made with 2 double pointed needles.
I made 2 lines of moss stitch on the back, just because I like the look of it ;)
Nell, just click on the links to get the patterns on the previous post !
---------------------------

Slowly but surely...
I finally decided to continue tinkerbell this week end, and I have to say some of the colours are very weird. I can only hope DBF is right and that it's essential for the overall look.Zohrah, why would you want me to move to Singapore? I would die from the heat !!! ;)
in the meantime, I will shortly stitch for Autumn ("Autumn Harvest" from LHN) and Halloween ("Stitchy Witchy"), before stitching Christmas ornaments. I don't think we'll see the halloween fairy this year anymore... too straining for my eyes...
---------------------

It takes a week !
Last Thursday I ordered the new JCS Christmas ornament magazine with "Autumn harvest" and "Reading" from LHN, and this Thursday... I got them !!!! there are so many nice things I want to stitch from there...And the suspense is over, here is a first picture of my current project, a cute Tinkerbell !!!
This is a freebie from Pioute brode, she kindly sent me the pattern. And I started to stitch it on 14 count lilac aida. It's very nice to do, even if it's strange to make crosses so big !
Thank you so much for all your kind words. I can only live on a day to day basis and hope the new work would be a good opportunity for me.
And now I'm still very busy at work, but I mostly wonder what I wil take with me to stitch during the weekend !!!
----------------------------------------
