Meet no name guy (any suggestion?)

I've become a very bad poster indeed.... One post a month???? Well, that doesn't mean I don't craft, but most of my free time is taken by Cityville on Facebook, so you can imagine the disaster.

September is quite cold here in the North of France, and DBF asks for his blanket !!! I made a total of about 50 granny squares, but the problem is crochet is hard on my hands. And making a blanket is sooooo long....

So I started Georgia's afghan. It's a knitted striped and boxes afghan that appeared in the "Friday night knitting club" novels. And of course the pattern is on the web here, and many people on Ravelry have made it already.

Right now there are two options : link the knitted piece and the crochet squares to have a big blanket faster. Or have 2 blankets. I layed down the granny squares on the bed yesterday, and I wasn't fond of the multicoloured patchy look. I'll show DBF, and if he still thinks the granny square blanket is a good idea, I will finish that just for him.

In any case, I think I will need more yarn.... ;)

I also made this little amigurumi guy over here. I wanted to try and make a mascot like character, starting with the legs, and crocheting from bottom to top of the head, all in one piece, except the arms (and the hair). He makes me think of UK cartoon characters. He looks bigger on the picture than in real life, as he's 6cm high. I have another little gurumi in the works, but I have to finish it, so you'll see it later.

Je suis une très mauvaise bloggeuse, me voilà à poster tous les mois !!! Mais bon, je vais prendre Cityville sur Facebook comme excuse. Pourtant je continue à bricoler, si si !!!


Il fait froid en ce mois de Septembre dans ch'Nord, et la couverture en crochet de DBF n'en est qu'à 50 carrés. Je ne peux pas aller vite car j'attrape vite des crampes à la main, et je veux me préserver du canal carpien autant que je peux. Pire, en étalant les carrés pour voir ce que ça donnerait au final, j'ai trouvé que je n'aimais pas l'aspect bigarré du truc. Je montrerai à DBF pour voir ce qu'il en pense.


En attendant, j'ai commencé une couverture au tricot, que je voulais faire depuis un certain temps. C'est "Georgia's afghan", la couverture qui est dans les romans du "Friday night knitting club".


On verra si je combine tricot et crochet en une couverture, ou si j'en fais 2 distinctes.


J'ai aussi fait ce petit bonhomme en amigurumi. Je voulais essayer de faire un style mascotte, en crochetant en une piece, du bas en haut. Et maintenant il ressemble à un perso de dessin animé anglais ;)


J'ai un autre petit perso en route, mais ce sera pour la prochaine fois...
