Little things in crochet

First, little flowers to scrub the dishes, or tawashies. I made a blue one for my mom, and an orange one for me.

D'abord, des fleurs pour laver la vaisselle, la bleue pour maman, l'orange pour moi

Then snowflakes, just to try them for Christmas (I know, it's in a long time)

Ensuite, des étoiles de neige pour Noel, et oui, je sais c'est dans longtemps

Then I made a granny pouch

Puis j'ai fait une pochette.





Then I tried little baskets in different models. The last one is orange, it's not a trick on the photograph or anything.

Puis j'ai essayé des petits paniers de modèles différents.Le dernier est vraiment orange, c'est pas une surexposition de la photo.

Picasa, my best friend

These past months, I didn't just knit on my vest. I made a few little things.... and it's easy to get them lost in the craft basket. But then there is this lovely thing called "inventory". After all, I have to prepare for 3 Christmas fairs this year. So this means making a list of what I have, and the prices... and pictures.

This is where Picasa is a very handy tool. I can upload pictures and keep them in chronological order, with notes, in just one click. So I invite you to check out the album with the 2012 creations, and of course the little things I made.

And because we all love pictures, here is the tawashi rose I made for my grandma's birthday. I made a few more in different colours, well, the petal part at least. I think it's so lovely we don't dare to use it to wash the dishes, but still... ;)

Ces derniers mois je n'ai pas fait que du tricot sur ma veste, j'ai aussi fait des petits trucs, en vue des marchés de Noël de cette année.

Mais c'est tellement facile de les perdre à droite à gauche qu'un inventaire est nécessaire, et donc photos.... mises sur mon album Picasa. C'est très pratique, toutes les photos des créations par ordre chronologique, sans mes blablas. Donc je vous invite à aller voir l'album de Craft 2012 pour tout voir.

Mais comme on aime les photos, voici la rose que j'ai faite pour l'anniversaire de ma grand mère. C'est un tawashi, mais on n'oserait pas faire la vaisselle avec ! ;)

Tawashies a gogo

This is quite a productive period. But not for blogging. The thing is that tawashies are so much fun to make, and so fast !!! We are back to the relaxing craft with instant satisfaction : In about one hour or two, you get one of those cute things !!!

Now I have to get the courage to actually use some of those to clean dishes ! I use the first spiral tawashi I made, intensively, but to use the Santa for exemple.... I guess it could be a kitchen decoration or a pan holder.

Summer crochet

I really can't concentrate on blogging, but I have loads to show. We are back from holidays. This time we decided to drive to Normandy and Brittany, driving about 3h max at a time, through the lovely country that is France, avoiding highways.

Lots of fields, cows and wind turbines, but not many people ;) And it was the occasion to crochet in the car. I had chosen to make a slouchy hat with this pattern. In the end it's quite big, and it will be comfy this winter. It was an ideal project as it's repetitive but nice to do.
